The Sasol Women’s League action produced some fascinating results where Bloemfontein Celtic FC in the Free State province maintained their 100% record, while the dominance of Richmond United Ladies in the Northern Cape continued.

Siwelele continued with their fine form when they dismantled Happy Ladies FC 13-3 at the Westene Stadium. The Sasol league defending Champions have shown no indication of slowing down as they’ve managed to maintain their 3-points lead at the top with Tsunami Queens in second place on 32-points.

The Queens who have only lost one game all season registered a hard-fought 4-3 win away to Nigol FC at the Bethlehem Show Ground.

The fight at the bottom has intensified as the likes of MO2KFA FC and Lovelife FC have found it difficult to register any positive results. The latter who are yet to get a win from their thirteen games suffered a 4-0 defeat to Kolisang Ladies. MO2KFA went down 4-0 to Ayebush FC remain second from bottom in the 16-team standings.

Richmond Ladies, the leaders of the stream B in the Northern Cape produced a scintillating performance to maintain their position one status with a commanding 6-0 win over Philipstown Ladies. Their nearest rivals Galeshewe Ladies managed a 4-1 win over Junior Tigers Ladies to keep their hopes alive of a title challenge.

Other notable results in their stream saw Royal Wizards beat Crusader Ladies 2-0 to move up to fourth. Ritchie All Stars along with Carnarvon Ladies were not in action.

Mamelodi Sundowns maintained their top spot in the Gauteng log standings with a 1-0 beating over Croesus Ladies. Palace Super Falcon still occupy second spot on the league table following their 4-0 win over NWU Vaal Campus.

JVW and Springs Home Sweepers are both on 39-points and as a result occupy fourth and fifth place respectively.
